My Story
Becoming a teacher is a passion that has formed recently in the past few years but has made me realize how fulfilled I am when teaching topics and being able to help the future generation of designers.

In my previous jobs I have been a mentor and manager to other designers. When teaching I feel the best value comes when I am a listener and a conscious feedback giver. One of my biggest pieces I want to give students is HOW to give feedback, to others, to clients, to peers, and how to do it consciously.

When I started realizing I wanted to become a teacher at my time at Fresno State I figured out what I needed to do in my education to qualify and expand my knowledge to be a professor. Attending ASU I was a TA for a UX Design class where students created sitemaps, conducted user testing and create a working prototype! This is when I knew that I would enjoy this career and with my industry experience I would be able to provide a full scope to students of what different roles and environments can look like in a design career.

Currently I teach Cross Media Design Solutions at Arizona State University Online where I have had 25+ students with over 3 semesters under my belt.
